KAINOS

Kainos · καινός · New

Planting churches.Equipping leaders.Multiplying disciples.

Kainos Leadership Network exists to plant and equip disciple-making churches across Ohio and the Midwest.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
2 Corinthians 5:17

Kainos (καινός) is a Greek word used throughout the New Testament for something new in kind, not merely new in time but new in nature. A new creation. A new heaven. A new earth. It is the word Paul used to describe the life that follows Jesus, and the word that anchors our mission.

The Strategy

Three commitments. One mission.

Planting Churches
01

Planting Churches

We plant new churches in cities and neighborhoods where Christ is not yet known. Every plant is designed to multiply, raising up the next generation of pastors and leaders.

Networking Leaders
02

Networking Leaders

We connect pastors, planters, and practitioners for shared formation. No one should lead alone. Kainos is a network of relationships first, before it is anything else.

Coaching Pastors
03

Coaching Pastors

We walk alongside pastors and church leaders through coaching, consulting, and soul care. The work is slow, the stakes are eternal. We are in no hurry, and we are with you.

Lake City Christian Church

Middleburg Heights, Ohio · Launched September 2024

A new disciple-making church in Northeast Ohio, planted as the first church of the Kainos network. Lake City gathers weekly for worship, teaching, and the meals and conversations that turn a gathering into a family.

Our Values

The convictions that shape every decision.

Multiplication

The gospel multiplies. Everything we build is designed to hand on what we have received, so that the next generation of leaders, churches, and cities inherits something alive.

Relational Discipleship

Life change happens in relationships, not programs. We disciple one another the way Jesus did, around tables and walking together, not only from stages.

Generosity

We give first. Time, resources, people. If the Kingdom is the aim, we hold our plans and our possessions loosely.

Authority of Scripture

The Bible is our final authority in faith and practice. What Scripture calls true, we call true. What it asks of us, we do.
